Structural and civil engineering services consisting of site survey, evaluation, design and construction phase services for the rehabilitation of the concrete spillway, channel raceway, control tower and the slide gate assembly at Herrington Lake, located in Herrington Manor State Park, Oakland, Garrett County, Maryland.

• The services consisted of the performance of site surveys, evaluation of the existing conditions, selection of the repair products and new replacement equipment, preparation of design documents, and performance of  construction and post construction phase services.

• The design approach and the construction phase activities were based on coordination  with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) guidelines and   requirements.

• Construction phase tasks including the lowering of the water level in the lake which was required for the repairs of the concrete spillway, channel raceway and the control tower, were coordinated to avoid disruptions to the park recreational activities and to comply with the DNR requirements.
