The Peppermill Community Center consists of approximately 15,000 square feet New community center which has replaced an existing community center (for which F&H had performed mechanical and electrical engineering services in 2001) and includes gymnasium, fitness room, three multipurpose rooms, warm up kitchen, offices and common areas:
Our services include the performance of commissioning tasks of mechanical, electrical and Fire protection system for this design/build project.
Our commissioning task started during the design phase by development of the Basis Of Design (BOD), Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR) and review of construction documents at various stages. As a result of our review, numerous revisions were required to be made to the construction documents by the design team for compliance with the construction documents, BOD, OPR and applicable codes. The commissioning plan had been prepared and commissioning scope meeting was held to address the project commissioning tasks by various team members.
The applicable shop drawing submittals have been reviewed for compliance with the approved construction documents. The functional performance test forms for various equipped and system have been prepared and distributed to the team members including the mechanical and electrical contractors. A project activity log is being continually updated on a spread sheet which will be included in the final commissioning report.
